In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

by Israeli Occupation Regime Forceshttp://english.wafa.ps/, https://english.palinfo.com/, https://imemc.org/, https://paltoday.ps/ar/ *** *** 'Hamas calls Miller’s remarks about war crimes in Gaza “important confession” Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement said that former US state department spokesman Matthew Miller made an “important confession” when he affirmed in recent remarks that Israel committed war crimes in Gaza and that the Biden administration attempted to conceal the truth about Israel’s practices. “Miller clearly revealed that he was not allowed to tell the truth while being in office and that he was forced to abide by the official US government narrative regarding the occupation’s practices,” Hamas said in a statement on Tuesday. 'Hamas said that Miller’s remarks “exposed the successive US administration’s deep political complicity with the Israeli occupation state in its brutal violations.” 'Hamas stressed that such a confession by a senior US official does not only condemn the Israeli occupation but also holds Washington directly responsible, as an active accomplice, for the war crimes and genocide being committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. 'Hamas added that this US complicity “is evident through funding, arming, providing political and diplomatic protection, and spreading misleading media coverage.” The Movement called on the international community and its judicial bodies to hold accountable everyone involved and complicit in the war crimes in Gaza. In press remarks to the Sky News Trump100 podcast on Monday, Miller, who spent months defending Israel’s conduct in the war on Gaza, acknowledged that the Israeli army had “without a doubt” committed war crimes in the Palestinian territory. He also said the former US administration “should have been tougher” on Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and put him under more pressure to accept a ceasefire proposal. The ex-spokesperson served as one of the public faces of former president Joe Biden’s staunch support for Israel as it killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and flattened much of the enclave. Miller’s comments raise questions on why the Biden administration continued to arm Israel despite US laws restricting military aid to countries that commit violations of human rights and international law. *** Dozens of aid seekers massacred, injured by Israeli gunfire in Gaza Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) committed a new massacre targeting Palestinian aid seekers in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 23 people and wounding about 200 others on Tuesday morning. The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza said that thousands of starving citizens gathered at the Al-Alam rotary in Rafa'h in order to head for an aid distribution site run by a US-backed private foundation, but suddenly Israeli tanks, helicopters, and drones showered them with bullets, killing and injuring dozens of them. Gaza’s health ministry reported that at least 24 martyrs and dozens of wounded civilians, including cases in very critical conditions, were evacuated from Al-Alam area in Rafa'h, adding that the number of the victims is likely to rise. This attack has raised the death toll from the recent IOF massacres against aid seekers in Gaza to more than 100 martyrs, with the number of wounded reaching over 490. *** PGMO: Israel turning aid centers into mass death traps Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has accused the Israeli occupation of converting humanitarian aid centers—established under a US-Israeli initiative—into deadly ambush sites, calling them “mass death traps” used to execute civilians under the pretense of humanitarian relief. Over the course of just eight days, the reported casualties have reached 102 Palestinians killed and 490 wounded. In a statement released Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the PGMO described what it called a “repeated, deliberate massacre” near one such center in Rafa'h. According to the report, Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) opened fire on civilians waiting for aid, killing 27 and injuring over 90 others. The incident is part of what the PGMO described as a broader, systematic policy. Since May 27, when these so-called aid centers began operating in Rafa'h and Wadi Gaza, they have reportedly been the site of repeated attacks. The PGMO said these centers are “operated by the Israeli occupation and an American security company” and are devoid of any independent humanitarian oversight. “These sites are nothing short of baited killing grounds. Civilians, driven by starvation under an imposed siege and famine, are lured to these areas and then gunned down in cold blood. The project masks itself as a humanitarian effort, but in reality, it is a tool of genocide carried out in full view of the world,” the statement added. The PGMO condemned the use of food as a weapon, labeling it a direct violation of international humanitarian law. It placed full responsibility for these incidents on both the Israeli occupation and the US administration, which it accused of actively supporting the operation—politically and logistically. Citing Article 2 of the 1948 Genocide Convention, asserting that the killings at these aid centers meet the legal threshold for genocide, the PGMO said: “the deliberate use of aid as a weapon to kill, starve, and displace civilians amounts to the intentional destruction of a people.” It called on the United Nations, the Security Council, and global human rights organizations to urgently intervene. Among its demands are the immediate opening of official crossings—free from IOF interference—for the entry of humanitarian aid, and the administration of aid distribution through neutral international agencies. The PGMO also rejected the creation of so-called “buffer zones” or “humanitarian corridors” established by IOF, calling them “blood traps designed to herd civilians into mass killing zones.” Concluding its remarks, the PGMO warned of the deadly consequences of ongoing international silence, stating that this inaction is tantamount to complicity and a green light for further atrocities. “The continued massacres, carried out in broad daylight and in front of the world’s cameras, are a stain on the conscience of humanity,” the statement read. “This is genocide—unfolding live, without accountability,” it added. *** UN demands swift investigation into Israel’s war crimes in Gaza aid centers Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, has condemned Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians at aid distribution centers in the Gaza Strip, calling them “inhuman acts” that may amount to war crimes, and urging a swift, impartial investigation to hold those responsible accountable. In a statement on Tuesday, Türk criticized the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) for targeting civilians attempting to access humanitarian aid, highlighting the dire conditions in Gaza where residents are being forced to choose between “dying of hunger” or “dying by bombs while trying to obtain food.” He emphasized that the deliberate obstruction of food and essential supplies to civilians may constitute a war crime under international law, particularly when access is denied on such a scale. According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, Israel has imposed a blockade on aid crossings for over 90 days, pushing 2.4 million Palestinians toward famine through a policy of deliberate starvation. In a recent admission, the IOF acknowledged opening fire on Palestinians near an aid distribution point in the Al-Alam area of Rafah, citing alleged “suspicious movement.” These centers, located in so-called “buffer zones,” have become scenes of chaos, where large crowds of starving civilians often face lethal force instead of food. Recent days have seen repeated disruptions in aid deliveries, further exacerbating the humanitarian disaster. Aid supplies reaching Gaza are described as meager and wholly insufficient to meet the overwhelming needs of the population. Human rights and UN organizations have condemned the current distribution system, which forces desperate civilians to pass through iron cages lined with barbed wire—an image many observers have compared to Nazi ghettos in World War II Europe. Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza—backed unconditionally by the United States—has resulted in over 179,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, most of them women and children. More than 11,000 are missing, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced. *** Hospitals in Gaza face collapse amid severe shortages and relentless airstrikes GAZA, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Hospitals across the Gaza Strip are facing catastrophic conditions as relentless Israeli airstrikes continue to overwhelm the health care system, medical sources warned on Tuesday. Operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency departments are buckling under the pressure of a growing number of critically injured patients, while life-saving resources are rapidly running out. Medical staff report an acute shortage of essential medications, surgical supplies, and diagnostic imaging equipment, preventing doctors from performing emergency procedures needed to save lives. Health workers are operating under extreme strain, often working extended shifts around the clock in an effort to treat the wounded despite worsening conditions. Calls for community blood donations have gone largely unanswered, as widespread malnutrition and hunger among the population have made it increasingly difficult for citizens to help. Hospitals are also struggling to keep critical units powered, with generators running on dwindling fuel reserves — threatening the functionality of vital medical equipment. Y.S. *** ****** Gaza: Hospitals receive 40 martyrs, death toll climbs to 54,510 Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC, Anadolu) During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of 40 civilians who were martyred in fresh Israeli attacks, including the bodies of five other people who were reported missing in previous attacks. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Tuesday, 208 citizens were also injured following Israeli attacks in the past hours. Accordingly, a total of 4,240 people have been killed and 12,860 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025. The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 54,510 martyrs, the Health Ministry stated. The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 124,901 people. “Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave. *** The Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues to massacre civilians across Gaza Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation apartheid regime army continued last night and on Tuesday to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians. According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine. Since dawn today, at least 42 Palestinians have been reportedly martyred in Israeli attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporters in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike that killed three civilians and injured two others near the Islamic University in eastern Khan Younus. Another Israeli strike on a group of civilians near the Bishara supermarket in northern Gaza claimed the lives of two people and injured others. At least 27 civilians were killed and 90 others suffered injuries when Israeli forces opened fire at thousands of aid seekers in western Rafa'h. An Israeli airstrike on an apartment also killed a citizen and injured three others in the west of Khan Younus. Three people were killed and over 20 others were injured in another strike on a tent sheltering a family in a displacement camp in the south of Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza. The Israeli army also bombed a tent sheltering a displaced family in al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus. Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks. The Israeli occupation army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women. *** At least eight civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes on displacement tents in central Gaza GAZA, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – At least eight Palestinians were killed and several others wounded, some critically, on Tuesday evening after Israeli warplanes targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in central Gaza, according to medical sources. The tent was located inside the courtyard of Bank of Palestine’s building in the densely populated Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City. The strike hit a crowded area, leaving multiple casualties and scenes of devastation. Separately, at least one Palestinian was killed when Israeli forces targeted a group of civilians in the Al-Sha'af area in eastern Gaza City. The attacks are part of Israel’s ongoing military campaign across the Gaza Strip, now in its ninth month, which has resulted in tens of thousands of casualties — many of them women and children. Y.S. *** Israeli genocidal air strikes kill nine civilians, injure others in the Gaza Strip GAZA, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Israeli genocidal strikes on Tuesday evening killed at least nine civilians and injured others in several parts of the war-torn Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent. He reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the Joarat Al-Lout area, south of Khan Younus, in the southern Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of four civilians, who were rushed to Nasir Medical Complex. Meanwhile, an Israeli combat drone targeted a group of civilians on the Abu 'Aarif Street in Dair El-Bala'h in the central Strip, claiming the lives of three civilians and injuring others. In the meantime, Israeli bombing targeted a charging station for cell phones near Al-Fadheela Mosque in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing a father and his son. This came as Israeli bombing also targeted the vicinity of Al-Sourani Mountain, east of Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood, east of Gaza, at a time when artillery shelled the areas to the east of Jabalya in the northern enclave. Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians. The death toll reached at least 4,240 with 12,860 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 40 slain Palestinians, including a body retrieved from the rubble, and 208 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals, noting that these numbers exclude hospitals in the northern Strip. The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid. The Israeli occupation apartheid regime has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 54,510 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 124,901 others. Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba. K.F. *** Health official: Over 3,000 hypertension and diabetes patients in Gaza deprived of treatment for more than three months RAMALLAH, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Mu'hammed Abu 'Afsh, Director of Medical Relief in northern Gaza, stated that the health situation in the Strip is extremely critical, with the healthcare system in a state of ongoing collapse due to the continued blockage of humanitarian aid and the increasing number of injured patients arriving at hospitals daily. He added that there are no foreseeable solutions to facilitate the entry of medical assistance. In an interview with Voice of Palestine today, Abu Afsh explained that more than 3,000 patients suffering from hypertension and diabetes have not received essential treatment or medications for over three months, as drug supplies have been completely depleted across all health centers. He also pointed to recent warnings issued by the Eye Hospital in Gaza, highlighting the imminent risk of vision loss for around 4,000 patients due to the lack of necessary medications and the compounded effects of diabetes and high blood pressure. Many of these patients are in urgent need of surgical interventions. T.R. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Israeli occupation forces assault Palestinian civilian at Barta’a checkpoint north of Jineen Jineen, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces assaulted on Tuesday evening a Palestinian man from the town of Barta’a, north of Jineen, according to official sources. According to the Barta’a Municipality, Israeli soldiers stopped 43-year-old Mansour Mu'hammed Qabha while he was crossing the Barta’a military checkpoint. After detaining him and searching his vehicle, soldiers proceeded to physically assault him. The municipality condemned the repeated violations at the Barta’a checkpoint, stating that the occupation forces have turned it into a site of harassment and deliberate delays, as part of broader efforts to restrict and pressure local residents. T.R. *** IOFs kidnap several Palestinians in West Bank raids Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed last night and on Tuesday morning different West Bank areas and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped two brothers and another young man after ransacking their homes in Doura town, southwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). In Jineen, the IOFs kidnapped a young man after raiding his home in Ya’bad town. In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), two young brothers were taken prisoners during an IOFs raid in Bait Sa'hour town. Israeli occupation forces also raided homes in other areas of the West Bank, with no reported kidnappings. *** Israeli court extends detention of wife of Palestinian prisoner Waleed Daqqa who died in Israeli prisons RAMALLAH, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli occupation apartheid regime court extended today the detention of the wife of the late Palestinian prisoner Waleed Daqqa, who died in Israeli custody in April 2024 after 38 years behind bars. The extension, until Thursday, marks the second consecutive renewal since her detention last week. In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) condemned the ongoing detention as a politically motivated act of reprisal against the Daqqa family, reflecting decades of systematic targeting. Waleed Daqqa died in Israeli custody in April 2024 after enduring 38 years of imprisonment marked by torture, abuse, deprivation and medical neglect, all of which collectively contributed to his death. Israeli authorities continue to withhold his body, denying his family a dignified burial. The statement added that since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocide, the Israeli occupation has intensified its targeting of the families of prisoners and those killed, employing systematic terrorism against them alongside continuous restrictions, harassment, and organized detention campaigns. The wife, Sana’ Daqqa was detained alongside her daughter, Milad, in occupied Jerusalem following calls by Israel’s far-right ‘National Security’ Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, for her deportation on allegations of posting “inciting content” on social media. T.R. *** 'Hamas: Ongoing torture of Palestinian prisoners part of Israel’s genocide against our people Tuesday 3-June-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement has condemned the continued mistreatment and torture of Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails, describing these actions as an extension of Israel’s broader campaign of genocide against the Palestinian people. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hamas highlighted what it called a “systematic policy of abuse” against Palestinian prisoners, noting a growing number of disturbing reports and testimonies. The latest, involving degrading conditions in Ofer prison, illustrates the extent of suffering endured by detainees in Israeli custody. The statement warned of the grave and deteriorating humanitarian situation inside Israeli prisons, particularly as policies of deliberate medical neglect and inhumane torture escalate. Detainees are being deprived of their most basic rights, including access to adequate healthcare, food, and sanitation. “These blatant violations of international law demand urgent intervention,” Hamas asserted, calling on international human rights and humanitarian organizations to act decisively. 'Hamas urged these bodies to hold “the Israeli fascist government accountable for state-sanctioned torture and killings inside detention facilities.” 'Hamas also appealed to Palestinians in the West Bank and the 1948 occupied territories to escalate protests and acts of resistance in solidarity with Palestinian detainees. The Movement emphasized the need to increase pressure on Israel to halt its practices and to ensure justice for those affected. The statement concluded by describing the plight of Palestinian prisoners as inseparable from the wider campaign of genocide being carried out in Gaza and across all occupied Palestinian territories. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers destroy dozens of olive trees near Ramallah RAMALLAH, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers today destroyed dozens of olive trees in the village of Kafr Malik east of Ramallah, according to local sources. Sources told WAFA that colonists broke the branches of more than 30 olive trees belonging to a local Palestinian resident. Violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinians and their property has escalated significantly since the start of the Israeli offensive against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023. The widespread, often indiscriminate, attacks carried out by colonists targeting Palestinian civilians and their properties have drawn broad international condemnation. In response, several countries have imposed sanctions on Israeli colonists accused of perpetrating acts of violence in the occupied West Bank. T.R. *** Islamic Authorities in Jerusalem condemn escalating violations by extremists against Al-Aqsa Mosque Tuesday 3-June-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The Islamic authorities in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) have strongly condemned the escalating and unprecedented violations committed by the illegal Israeli settler groups against Al-Aqsa Mosque. In a statement, they denounced the actions of extremist Jewish settlers who stormed the Mosque on Monday, entering the Dome of the Rock courtyard carrying a bag containing bread, wine, and a blood-stained cloth. They described this act as an unprecedented escalation by extremist groups who, just last month, also attempted to bring an animal sacrifice into the Mosque’s courtyards via Bab Al-Ghawanima. The Islamic bodies also condemned the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers performing overt prayers, rituals, prostrations, singing, and dancing inside the courtyards—now occurring on a daily basis. These actions blatantly cross red lines and deliberately insult the beliefs of over two billion Muslims around the world. In their statement, the Islamic authorities in Jerusalem held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for these serious violations against one of Islam’s holiest sites. They criticized the Israeli occupation apartheid regime for enabling large groups of extremist Jews to storm the Mosque daily and providing them protection to carry out public rituals within its precincts. They described these actions as a blatant violation of the religious, historical, and legal status quo of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which has stood for five centuries as a purely Islamic place of worship across its 144-dunum area. The Islamic bodies affirmed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims by divine decree, ever since the Night Journey (Al-Isra wal Mi’raj) of Prophet Mu'hammad, peace and blessings be upon him, from Masjid Al-'Haram in Makkah to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and his ascension to the heavens. They emphasized that Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain an Islamic mosque until the end of time, by the will of Allah, and it is not subject to division or partnership. The authorities called on Arab and Islamic countries—especially the custodian of Islamic and Christian holy sites, King Abdullah II Ibn Al-'Husain—to take a firm stance against the arrogance and blatant aggression of the occupation authorities targeting the Aqsa Mosque. They also urged the Islamic world and the international community to support the King’s efforts to defend the blessed Aqsa Mosque and halt these grave violations before the illegal Israeli settler groups implement their openly declared plans to Judaize, demolish, or seize the Mosque. The Islamic bodies issuing the statement include: the Higher Islamic Council, the Council of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, the Palestinian Fatwa Department, the Office of the Chief Islamic Justice, and the Department of Islamic Endowments and Affairs of Aqsa Mosque. *** Israeli attacks shut down 52.6% of economic establishments in northern West Bank Tuesday 3-June-2025 West Bank, (PIC) The Palestinian Ministry of Economy has reported that 52.6% of economic establishments in the northern governorates of the occupied West Bank have ceased operations due to Israeli military actions. In a press statement, the ministry shared the findings of a field survey conducted to assess the impact of systematic Israeli assaults and violations on the Palestinian economy during the first quarter of this year. The results reflect the depth of economic deterioration in the governorates of Jenin, Tulkarem, Nablus, and Tubas—areas subject to frequent invasions and raids. The ministry added that the survey “comes at a time when the Palestinian economy is experiencing a contraction of up to 28%, amid the ongoing genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation since October 2023.” The survey, conducted in the first quarter of 2025, covered a sample of 523 economic establishments across the mentioned governorates. It found that “52.6% of businesses halted operations either permanently or temporarily during the first quarter of 2025. The highest percentage was in Jenin at 83.1%, followed by Tulkarem at 82.9%, then Tubas at 23.1%, and Nablus at 12.3%.” The ministry further noted that “18.7% of businesses sustained direct physical damage due to attacks by the Israeli military and settlers, resulting in losses to fixed assets or inventory.” The survey also revealed that “87.4% of establishments are operating below their normal production capacity due to movement restrictions, supply shortages, and loss of local markets. The average decline in production capacity was 58.4%.” It highlighted that “small and micro-enterprises were the hardest hit, due to their limited financial and logistical resilience.” Women-led businesses were among the most affected sectors: “80% of women entrepreneurs reported significant drops in sales, and over 60% said their businesses experienced partial or complete shutdowns.” Additionally, 98.3% of establishments cited repeated Israeli raids as a major factor in their declining performance. Since January 21, the Israeli occupation army has launched a campaign targeting Jenin refugee camp, which has since expanded to include Al-Fara’a camp in Tubas, as well as Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps in Tulkarem governorate, along with repeated incursions into camps in Nablus. Backed by unwavering US support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023. The onslaught has resulted in over 179,000 Palestinians killed or injured, most of them women and children, with more than 11,000 missing and hundreds of thousands forcibly displaced. In parallel with the Gaza genocide, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated attacks in the West Bank, including Occupied Jerusalem, killing at least 973 Palestinians, wounding around 7,000, and arresting more than 17,000, according to Palestinian data. *** Israeli forces raze large tract of land east of Ramallah RAMALLAH, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli military forces on Tuesday carried out land-leveling operations in the village of Dair Jareer, east of Ramallah, according to local sources. The forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, entered the village and razed privately owned agricultural lands belonging to Palestinian residents. Dair Jareer has witnessed repeated Israeli incursions and settler attacks in recent months, part of a broader pattern of land confiscation and harassment in villages across the eastern Ramallah region. Residents say the ongoing actions are aimed at restricting Palestinian access to their land and paving the way for settlement expansion. This morning, we have received information that dozens more people were killed and injured.” He continued: “There must be a prompt and impartial investigation into each of these attacks, and those responsible held to account. Attacks directed against civilians constitute a grave breach of international law, and a war crime.” Türk condemned the systematic deprivation faced by Palestinians in Gaza: “Palestinians have been presented the grimmest of choices: die from starvation or risk being killed while trying to access the meagre food that is being made available through Israel’s militarized humanitarian assistance mechanism. This militarized system endangers lives and violates international standards on aid distribution, as the United Nations has repeatedly warned.” He further warned of the legal consequences of such actions: “The willful impediment of access to food and other life-sustaining relief supplies for civilians may constitute a war crime. The threat of starvation, together with 20 months of killing of civilians and destruction on a massive scale, repeated forced displacements, intolerable, dehumanizing rhetoric and threats by Israel’s leadership to empty the Strip of its population, also constitute elements of the most serious crimes under international law.” Recalling a previous ruling by the International Court of Justice, Türk emphasized: “In 2024, the International Court of Justice found that there was a real and imminent risk of irreparable prejudice to the rights of Palestinians in Gaza under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. The Court issued binding orders on Israel to take all necessary and effective measures to ensure, without delay, in full cooperation with the United Nations, the unhindered provision at scale by all concerned of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance, including food, water, electricity, fuel, shelter, clothing, hygiene and sanitation requirements, as well as medical supplies and medical care to Palestinians throughout Gaza.” He concluded firmly: “There is no justification for failing to comply with these obligations.” T.R. *** Amnesty International urges global rejection of Israel’s weaponized aid plan in Gaza GENEVA, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Amnesty International has called on countries worldwide to reject the so-called “aid plan” used by Israel as a weapon in the Gaza Strip, urging concrete international action to end the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people. In a statement released Tuesday, the organization condemned the international community for allowing the catastrophe and genocide in Gaza to persist for far too long, emphasizing that the deliberate starvation of civilians constitutes a war crime that must be halted immediately. Amnesty International also stressed that Israel, as the occupying power, is legally obligated under international law to ensure the provision of essential supplies to the population. The organization described recent gunfire against starving Palestinians near an aid distribution site in Rafah as a horrific incident demanding an immediate and independent investigation.
